Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services joined the American Legion and other partners in publishing The Future of Credentialing of Servicemembers and Veterans: Leveraging Partners, Policies and Resources. We believe in sharing solutions broadly. To this end, this report provides recommendations to transitioning service members, employers, licensing and credentialing agencies as well as veterans seeking to take advantage of military skills.

Our Vice President of Programs and Services, Retired Army Colonel Sam Whitehurst is one of the report's authors.

On the report, Colonel Whitehurst said, "At Dixon Center, we recognize the need for economic empowerment when it comes to veterans and their families quality of life."

The report, published in March of this year, is creating a mental model for public-private partnerships, recognition of learning and stackable credentials, actionable tools, and resources, as well as suggested and current state and federal legislation, policy, and research on the emerging needs of veterans.

"It's our hope this report and the partnerships we've forged with subsidiaries of The Fedcap Group, as well as other civic and private organization will allow for increased integration of veterans and their families" said Dixon Center President, Colonel Duncan Milne.
