At Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services, we believe our veterans and military families can succeed where they live. We also believe that every organization can effectively integrate veterans and their families into their existing community-based programs. Our mission is to ensure both values are made possible. Our goal is not to create new programs. Rather, the goal is to enable the integration of military and veteran services into existing programs to increase impact.
As a Center of Excellence, we provide and coordinate technical assistance/training, resource sharing, and strong leadership to our partners, who, with our ongoing support, develop and operate direct service programs. This approach works. Since 2012, our collaboration and capacity building has impacted nearly 2.1 million individuals and organizations.

Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services joined forces with The Fedcap Group, May 1 of 2017, a platform for over 20 companies to deliver proven services and solving systematic problems. We operate as a subsidiary of the 501c3 organization of Fedcap Rehabilitation Services Inc., (Federal Tax ID 13-5645879).
The operating highlights of Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services are part of a comprehensive financial statement package of Fedcap Rehabilitation Services, Inc. We are proud of our GuideStar recognition with the 2021 Gold Seal of Transparency and our FY 2020 financial statements ending September 30, 2020, reflect that 88% of Fedcap’s total expenditures went directly toward programming.
