National Reach/Local Impact

Newsletter-Covers-62

Over the last six months, we have responded to the needs of veterans and their families negatively impacted by the economy and pandemic. Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services is sharing resources and expertise with local community-based organizations so they can support local veterans struggling with food insecurity, increases in rent, and other everyday bills.

At Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services, our mission is to ensure our veterans and military families can succeed where they live and that every organization, across all sectors of society, effectively integrate veterans and their families into their organization and existing programs.

Drawing on our expertise as a clearinghouse, we continue to identify and assist community food banks, affordable housing solutions, and veteran service organizations that can compassionately outreach to veterans and their families in need for this type of assistance.

With your support, we can continue to make these investments into the long-term success of veterans and their families in your community. For more information on how you can assist and be part of Dixon Center's third pillar, Live with Hope, please contact Colonel (Ret.) Sam Whitehurst, Vice President of Programs & Services at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
